Geranium (Pelargonium Colorama) is an annual flowering plant beloved by gardeners. The flowers come in white, pink, purple, and blue and are renowned for their colors and unique fragrance. Geraniums are suitable for growing in containers, hanging pots, or home/terrace gardens.

Sow geranium seeds in early spring (February-March) or start them indoors in winter (December-January).

Sow geranium seeds by the transplanting method.

The best-size pots or grow bags for growing geraniums are 9-15 inches wide and deep.

Geranium seeds germinate in 7-14 days at temperatures around 21-23°C.

Give water daily during the summer and reduce watering in the winter, don’t keep the soil soggy as geraniums hate to grow in it.

Geranium grows best in 6-8 hours of direct sunlight however, it can tolerate partial shade during hot summer.

Geranium starts flowering in about 90-120 days. It blooms throughout the season (spring, summer, and autumn).
