Flowering plants can also be easily grown from seed, but if you can find cuttings, you can grow flowers from them as well. When grown from cuttings, the plant grows quickly and flowers start blooming quickly.
Using a sharp knife or pruner tool, cut healthy, green shoots at least 6 inches long from the flowering plant at a 45-degree angle.
After taking the cutting, immediately put it in a glass filled with water. This keeps the cutting moist.
For quick rooting of flower cuttings, dip the lower 1 cm portion of the cuttings in the rooting hormone.
Plant the flower cuttings in the soil in a 6×6 and 9×9 inch (width x height) pot or grow bag.
After planting the cutting in the soil, cover it with transparent polythene, and keep it in a place where there is no direct sunlight.
