Fenugreek or methi is a herb and vegetable which is widely popular in India as well as in other countries. The leaves are small, dark green, and soft with a sweet and hot aroma like pepper.

Fenugreek sowing time is from spring to early summer (February- May) and Autumn to Winter (September-December) when temperatures are mild (12-28°C).

Fenugreek is usually planted directly in pots because it does not like to be transplanted after germination.

To grow fenugreek at home, you need a grow bag or pot about 6 inches deep and 18 inches wide.

Fenugreek seeds will start sprouting about 5-10 days after sowing.
