Curry leaves, known for their aromatic flavor, enhance the taste of almost all dishes. You must also be adding curry leaves (meetha neem) to your food, so why not grow it at home.

You can grow curry leaf plants in pots or bags in two ways, one from seed and the other from cuttings of the plant. But the best way to grow is from cuttings.

Curry leaf plants are very sensitive to winter weather, so plant them after all danger of frost has passed.

To plant curry leaves from seed, sow the seed about ½ inch deep in the soil of the garden or pot.

To plant with stem cutting, take a 5-8 inch long cutting, and keep it in a warm place for a few days. Plant the cutting of curry leaves in the soil.

Curry leaf plants should be watered as needed, when the plant grows up, you can water curry leaves deeply once a week.

The sweet neem tree prefers to grow in full sunlight, although the plant can grow in partial shade as well.
