Easy And Best Vegetables To Grow In Raised Bed!

Raised beds are rectangular boxes, usually made of HDPE plastic, wood, metal, or other materials. In gardening, they are used to grow vegetables, herbs, and fruit-flower plants. These raised garden beds are best for gardening on the roof of the house and on the balcony.

Raised beds are usually 12 to 18 inches deep. Because of this, they contain almost all root vegetables such as potatoes, radishes, carrots, beets, onions, ginger, garlic, parsnips, turnips, and sweet potatoes can grow easily.

Root Vegetables

Raised garden beds are best for growing all small leafy vegetables. These include Lettuce, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Coriander, Malabar Spinach, Celery, Parsley, Mustard Greens, Endive, and Arugula

Leafy Vegetables

Vine vegetables such as pole beans, peas, cucumbers, zucchini, parsnips, and bitter gourds are best for growing in raised beds because these vegetables take up less space underneath.

Vine Climbing Vegetables

Cruciferous vegetables are also included in the list of best vegetables to grow in raised beds. These include cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, bok choy and collard greens.

Cruciferous Vegetables

Apart from this, you can also plant brinjal, capsicum, tomato, okra, green chili, etc. in the raised bed.
