If oil, grease, etc. are applied to the equipment, wash it in soap or detergent solution.

If your garden tools are rusted then you can fill vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it on the rusted tools and scrub the rusted part, leave the tools like this for ½ hour and then for half an hour, and then wash the tools thoroughly.
