There is a right time to harvest every fruit and vegetable. For good taste, you need to know the right time of harvesting vegetables and fruits.

When the leaves of vegetable plants like spinach, coriander, poi, kale, etc. grow completely then they should be plucked.

When To Harvest Leafy Greens

When harvesting vegetables like beetroot, carrot, potato, and turnip, then try to uproot a plant, if these vegetables have a dark color and they are of medium size, then they should be uprooted.

When To Harvest Root Vegetables

When the vine vegetable becomes of medium size, then if it feels soft after touching it with a hand, then cut it.

When To Harvest Climbing Vegetable

When the cruciferous veg heads are fully developed, i.e. when they are 6 to 7 inches in diameter, they should be plucked.

When To Harvest Cruciferous Vegetables

Vegetable plants like tomatoes, brinjal, chili, etc. are bushy. When the tomatoes or chilies planted in these plants are richly colored, then they should be harvested.

When To Harvest Bush Vegetable

When the color of any fruit has darkened well, then it should be harvested. Strawberry and raspberry fruits should be plucked when they are soft.
