Often the key problem in gardening comes down to getting the seeds to germinate properly. If the seeds sown by you are not sprouting or not growing properly, there could be many factors behind it, which we need to consider. So before planting seeds, some steps should be considered, including:
The potting soil must be properly prepared for planting the seeds. The potting soil needs to be moist and light enough for the seeds to germinate.
The soil should usually include cocopeat, perlite, or vermiculite, as well as sand.
The seeds should not be planted too close together in the soil of the pot.
Do not plant the seeds too deeply. Every seed needs to be planted at a certain depth and at the right temperature in order to germinate properly.
The pot should be covered with a dome-shaped lid or a plastic lid with holes until the seed sprouts come out of the soil. Remove the cover when the sprouts are visible from the soil.
Use a spray bottle to water the soil. Seeds need the right amount of light and air to germinate.
