Alyssum Flowers are one of the prettiest flowers in India that bloom from spring to autumn (fall). It is good for attracting pollinators and it creates a stress-free environment in the garden. Today I will tell you the best way to grow alyssum in home gardens.
Alyssum is a cool-season flower that is mostly planted in Spring (February to March), Autumn (September-November), or Winter (December-January).
Alyssum can be planted either directly in a pot or by seedling transplant method when the temperature is around 10-15°C for seed germination.
Alyssum is perfect for patio containers/grow bags (7-15 inches wide and deep), hanging pots, and window boxes.
Alyssum doesn’t need much water, especially on cold days, you can give 1 inch of water per week but water regularly on hot days.
Alyssum grows best in 6-8 hours of sunlight. However, it can grow well in partial shade in warm and dry regions.
Alyssum flower plants bloom after 2 months of sowing. Spring is the time when the alyssum flower blooms but fades in hot summers and blooms again in autumn.
